Stop Press:........ Heritage Trail to be possibly included as one of the 200 walks outlined on the Royal Geographical Society's 'Discovering Britain' web-site. www.discoveringbritain.org Dr Jenny Lunn, R.G.S. Discovering Britain Project Manager, (shown right), visited Croxton on June 20th and walked the heritage trail with Ken Langford, Susan Mather and Carol Benbow.

The six and a half mile Heritage Trail will be launched in July at the Croxton well dressing.
Leaflets are already available in Eccleshall Library.
It is suggested that a good starting point would be at Sugnall Walled garden where there is a lovely tea room and car parking space. At Sugnall crossroads, turn south off the B5026 Eccleshall to Loggerheads Road and in 50m the car park is on the right and tea room across the road within the 270 year-old walled garden.
Sugnall Tea Rooms Opening times: Easter – end September, Wednesdays to Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays, 11.00 am – 4.30 pm. For more information call 01785 851556.
